Yes. The official Steam page includes both a Crossplay feature and the Cross-Platform Multiplayer category. Its description says you can play online with friends on other platforms.

Which platforms are involved?

The announced platforms are Steam on Windows and macOS, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2. The official FAQ says people on different systems can play together, though it does not publish a platform-by-platform pairing matrix.

How do friends connect?

The official FAQ describes two routes. A host’s game can appear automatically to people on that host’s platform friends list. Otherwise, the host can share a short, unique Join Code generated for that session.
